Nebraska Delegation Returns to Volta/Oti to Strengthen Agricultural Ties

The Volta/Oti Region is preparing to welcome a three-member delegation from Nebraska, USA, in early June 2025. This marks the second official visit, organized under the auspices of the Volta Africa American Chamber (VAAC), and aims to deepen collaboration in agriculture with a special focus on opportunities within the Volta and Oti regions.

Leading the welcoming efforts will be Mr. Daniel Agboka-Dzegede, Executive Director of the Volta Development Forum (VDF) and President of VAAC. He emphasized that this follow-up visit builds on the positive outcomes of the first delegation, creating momentum for stronger partnerships and practical agricultural initiatives.

“The Volta and Oti regions are blessed with vast agricultural potential,” Mr. Dzegede said. “This partnership with our Nebraska counterparts will not only boost productivity but also open new doors for innovation, investment, and sustainable development in our communities.”

The return of the Nebraska team highlights the growing global interest in Ghana’s agricultural sector and the commitment of VAAC to create international linkages that bring real impact on the ground.

For the people of Volta and Oti, this collaboration promises more than just economic growth—it represents a step toward transforming agriculture into a driver of prosperity and opportunity.
