In a move to strengthen collaboration and foster economic growth in the Volta Region, the Managing Director of Republic Bank, Mr. Benjamin Dzoboku, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Director of the Volta Development Forum (VDF) and President of the Volta African American Chamber (VAAC), Mr. Daniel Agboka Dzegede, at the VDF Secretariat in Ho on May 2, 2025.
The discussions focused on how VDF can rally the private sector to embrace Republic Bank’s tailored financial products while identifying strategies to expand economic opportunities and improve access to financial services in the region.
Following the meeting, Mr. Dzegede led the Republic Bank delegation to key business hubs, including the Volta Gate Estate project at Oxygen City. This field visit offered the bank’s leadership first-hand insights into the region’s evolving business landscape and highlighted opportunities for collaboration.
The visit reaffirms Republic Bank’s commitment to supporting regional economic development and underscores the vital role of private sector partnerships in driving sustainable growth across Volta.
